BSCIC goes digital and launches online marketplace for craft MSMEs – Tech Observer

Dhaka: Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) under the Ministry of Industry has launched an online marketplace of all categories of entrepreneurs, including small, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSME).

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the inaugural ceremony on Thursday evening as the guest of honor, the e-commerce platform’s route announced.

BSCIC President, Minister of State for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, Minister of State for Information (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Secretary of Industry Zakia Sultana and others were present as special guests at the function chaired by Mushtaq Hasan.

This e-commerce platform is designed to market products made by others, including entrepreneurs who do not have their own showrooms.

BSCIC claims that the e-commerce platform is an international standard. CMSME entrepreneurs will be able to sell their products at fair prices at home and abroad through the BSIC online marketing platform.

BSCIC is the only government organization whose main job is to create new entrepreneurs.

The “BSCIC Online Marketing” platform will usher in a new era in entrepreneurship as well as in the online marketing of products made by entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs will be able to display and market their products for free on the BSCIC Online Market. Entrepreneurs do not have to pay any fees for marketing the product online.
