Summary of Roles/Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently perform cardiac procedures such as echocardiographs (ECHO).
Perform other procedures such as lung function test (spirometry) and electroencephalogram (ECG).
Perform and monitor patients while they undergo exercise testing (usually on a treadmill).
Monitor blood pressure and heart rate.
Receives telephone orders for cardiac tests.
Retain and/or retrieve departmental copies of patient test reports.
Ensure patient reports are reviewed in a timely manner.
Notifies the Reports/Results office that cardiac reports are ready.
Keep supervisor informed of malfunctions of any office equipment.
Monitor and report customer report with extended report duration.
Person Qualifications and Specifications
Degree in Physiology.
2-4 years of experience managing cardiac procedures
Attention to detail.
Ability to work varied hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Demonstrated communication skills and strong report writing skills.
Excellent use of Millensys software.
Good listening skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Organized team player.
Motivated and detail oriented.
Ability to meet and exceed organizational goals
