“Why she?” is a mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin as Oh Soo Jae, a cold-hearted lawyer who emptied himself after only chasing success, and Hwang In Yeop as law student Gong Chan. who would do anything to protect her.
Oh Soo Jae finally discovered Gong Chan’s true identity after seeing his past being wrongfully accused of murdering his half-sister Jeon Na Jung (Hwang Ji Ah). Oh Soo Jae couldn’t hide her shock to learn that Gong Chan is the same person as Kim Dong Gu (Yu Gene Woo), the person she defended in the past as a lawyer. She started pushing him away and despite his belated apology, she refused to forgive him saying, “You cheated on me. However, the real reason she decided to keep her distance from him is because she dropped her case despite knowing he was innocent. Oh Soo Jae shed tears of regret and remorse as she said, “I abandoned Kim Dong Gu. I abandoned you.
Newly released stills show Seo Joo Myung (Kim Young Pil) during Oh Soo Jae’s lecture. He’s got a relaxed, sassy smile on his face, and she’s staring at him like he’s an unwanted guest. Oh Soo Jae keeps his distance from him, arms crossed in front of his chest, clearly showing his disgust that he passed by without notice. This scene reminds viewers of the case of Kim Dong Gu ten years ago, when Oh Soo Jae was the lawyer and Seo Joo Myung was the prosecutor.
Gong Chan, Choi Yoon Sang (Bae In Hyuk), Jo Kang Ja (Kim Jae Hwa), Na Se Ryun (Nam Ji Hyun), and Nam Choon Pong (Lee Jin Hyuk) watch their confrontation with concern. Why did Seo Joo Myung, who was kicked out of school and now works for TK law firm, come back, and what kind of conversation will he have with Oh Soo Jae?
The production team shared that the hidden truth about Jeon Na Jung’s case from ten years ago will cause shock and unimaginable twists. They added, “Please watch to see how the relationship between Oh Soo Jae and Gong Chan, who are seriously entangled in this matter, will play out.”
