The registration deadline ends today; check the steps to apply

The registration deadline for the fifth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) ends today, February 3rd. Interested persons can apply for a chance to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi by registering on the official website at www.mygov.in.

So far, more than 12.03 lakh students, 90,000 parents and 2.69 teachers have registered on the MyGov portal, according to the website. The date and schedule for the PPC have yet to be announced. The last PPC was conducted in fully virtual mode on April 7, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The interaction will be open to students in grades 9 to 12 as well as their parents and teachers. In Pariksha Pe Charcha, Modi interacts with selected people on topics such as exam stress and gives his own perspective on time management during exams and other issues.

Steps to register for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022:
― Visit the official website at https://www.mygov.in/
― Click on the link to register for the fifth edition of the PPC in the What’s New section of the page
― Enter the details required to register on the Pariksha Pe Charcha portal
― Submit the application and keep a hard copy of your completed PPC form for future use

Entrants must submit an original essay on one of the proposed themes. Any false information submitted in the essay will result in disqualification of the student from the PPC 2022 participation process. Applications submitted by applicants must not contain objectionable, inappropriate or false content.

The topics of the writing are Clean India Green India, self-reliant school for a self-reliant India, environmental conservation and resilience to climate change, digital collaboration in classrooms, strategies for coping with exam stress during COVID-19 and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, as per Pariksha Pe Charcha website.

For teachers, the themes are National Education Policy (NEP) for Naya Bharat and the COVID-19 Pandemic: Opportunities and Challenges. For parents, Beti Padhao Desh Badhao, the desire to learn from lifelong students and Local to Global – Vocal for Local.

Registration for Pariksha Pe Charcha started on December 28 last year.
